Favorite (SECRET) Hikes the locals know about and will share with you!
Limber Pine Trail
Easy and quick hike which is a 1.2 mile loop, great for beginners. This trailhead is located just beyond mile marker 492 on Logan Canyon National Scenic Byway, shortly after the canyon’s summit but before Bear Lake. The Limber Pine tree is thought to be more than 500 years old.

Garden City Canyon
Easy and quick hike which is a 1.2 mile loop, great for beginners. This trailhead is located just beyond mile marker 492 on Logan Canyon National Scenic Byway, shortly after the canyon’s summit but before Bear Lake. The Limber Pine tree is thought to be more than 500 years old.

Swan Creek Hike
Look at the 5th largest spring west of the Mississippi called Swan Springs (it’s where most of our water comes from in Garden City). Then head up the trail. This trail goes up approximately 1 mile and comes down the same way so go as far as you like, this hike is an amazing option for a warm or hot day because of the nicely shaded area. Drive north on Bear Lake BLVD to 2150 North or Swan Creek Lane, turn left or west and drive to the end of the road (before it goes to the Garden City water treatment plant stop and park). Walk up the road towards the spring.
